According to a press release, the tournament – featuring singles and doubles draws for Boys and Girls in the 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U age groups – has 205 tennis players registered from 15 states. Singles will be a “modified feed-in consolation” format, while doubles will be single elimination.

The USTA National Level 5 Tournament will be played on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, at Independence Stadium, 3301 Pershing Blvd in Shreveport. “Rackets on the Rocks,” a social hour with free food, drinks, and prizes, will be held the night before on Friday, April 4, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club.
