Voters decided between five propositions that would allow for alcohol consumption and sales in the Town of Stonewall, each proposition passing by more than 60%.
Stonewall residents have been discussing this legislation for many years after a similar effort failed to pass. The town council must now adopt ordinances for the newly approved sales.
Proposition one passed with 63% of the vote, with 544 residents voting yes, and 320 voting no.
Proposition two passed with 62% of the vote, with 543 residents voting yes, and 320 voting no.
Proposition three passed with 61% of the vote, with 528 residents voting yes, and 332 voting no.
Proposition four passed with 61% of the vote, with 528 residents voting yes, and 331 voting no.
Proposition five passed with 66% of the vote, with 570 residents voting yes and 293 voting no.
