REAL ID Day events will be held at 57 driver’s license centers on Monday, April 7, one month from the May 7 deadline.
The April 7 REAL ID Days will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the 57 locations announced Monday.
For a complete list of centers that will be open, visit PennDOT’s website.
More than 2.5 million Pennsylvanians have a REAL ID, which will be required to board a domestic commercial flight, enter a military base, or enter certain federal facilities.
“PennDOT is committed to making it as convenient as possible for Pennsylvanians to obtain a REAL ID if they want one,” said PennDOT Deputy Secretary for Driver and Vehicle Services Kara Templeton. “Because we’re seeing an increase in demand, we decided to offer our REAL ID Days as a way to ensure we are meeting the needs of the public and providing them with the best possible customer service.”
