On April 1, around midnight, officers saw a gray Audi S5 speeding on South Main Street and pulled the driver over at the intersection of South Main and Springfield.
The suspect cooperated with deputies and admitted he was speeding, but told officials there were no drugs or firearms in the vehicle.
During a K9 search, authorities were alerted there were drugs in the car, according to court records.
Deputies proceeded to find cocaine in the car and on the suspect, a firearm, a holster and two cell phones.
