On May 14, around 1 p.m., officers saw Harris exchange drugs for cash, according to court records. Authorities followed the suspect’s vehicle until he arrived at a house in the 1200 block of Blake Street.
He was taken into custody soon after.
During an interview, Harris told deputies he was selling crack cocaine.
The suspect is charged with delivering cocaine and fentanyl.
Harris was also charged with aggravated battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and possession of a firearm without a FOID for an alleged incident that happened on April 12.
Court records were not readily available for the April 12 incident.
