Bond set for former Jefferson Parish deputy accused of computer-aided solicitation of a juvenile

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Bond has been set for a former Jefferson Parish deputy accused of exchanging inappropriate messages with a juvenile.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on March 27 that 57-year-old James Traylor was arrested on a charge of computer-aided solicitation of a juvenile after an investigation into alleged inappropriate messages exchanged with a teenage victim.
According to JPSO investigators, it is believed Traylor allegedly met the victim while working detail at a school.
On Monday, a judge set Traylor’s bond at $200,000.
