The over 30-year fundraiser is ASO’s most popular event to support its music education programs and showcasing clothing from women-owned stores and boutiques across Acadiana.
Guests will enjoy lunch, a silent auction, table and hat decorating contests, a brief performance by the Acadiana Symphony Youth Orchestra and a fashion show. Attendees are encouraged to dress in outfits and hats that match the event’s theme, which is “Paris & Prosecco.”
ASO said 100% of the proceeds raised from the Style Show go to support ASO’s Youth and Preparatory Orchestra, called “After School Strings and the Conservatory.” To demonstrate the impact of these programs, ASO said they are thrilled to have students from the Youth Orchestra perform at this year’s event.
ASO Executive director, Dana Baker said, “People keep coming back to Mad Hatter’s year after year, because it’s an opportunity to eat great food, dress up, and have fun with friends, all while supporting music education in Acadiana.”
