PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — A man was arrested after he allegedly entered a Provo restaurant while naked, flexed his muscles “aggressively,” and reportedly wielded a gun, according to arrest documents.
Ralph Laurent, 24, was arrested on two counts of lewdness involving a child, both class A misdemeanors; one count of lewdness, a class B misdemeanor; and one count of disorderly conduct, an infraction.
Officers were dispatched to the scene around 2:40 p.m. on Saturday after receiving reports of Laurent in the restaurant.
“The complainant reported the male was flexing muscles aggressively and following people,” arrest documents said. “Another complainant reported that the male had a gun.”
Officials discovered more than a dozen witnesses of the suspect’s lewdness, both in the restaurant and in a park nearby. According to arrest documents, Laurent was witnessed undressing in the park by a father and two children.
Laurent was later located “in the middle of S State Street” and was “still completely naked” when he was taken into custody and put in a patrol car, according to documents. While one complainant reported to police that Laurent had a gun, he was not initially arrested on any firearm-related charges.
Laurent was booked into jail on the aforementioned charges. There is no further information at this time.
