Louisiana State Police ask for public’s help in Denham Springs hit-and-run that left 1 injured

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Louisiana State Police is asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured.

The accident occurred around 9 p.m. on March 29, on LA 1023, south of LA 63.

According to state police, a vehicle, possibly a Toyota, hit a pedestrian and then fled the scene. LSP said the suspect vehicle likely has front-end damage, including damage to the hood, grille, and windshield. After the crash, it was last seen heading north on LA 1023 toward LA 63.

Troopers want anyone with information about the crash or the suspect vehicle’s location to call Louisiana State Police Troop A at 225-754-8500.
