Suspect in custody after deadly shooting in Walthall County

WALTHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – One person is dead and another is in custody after a shooting in Walthall County.

The shooting occurred off of Old Highway 24 East around 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28.

According to the Walthall County sheriff, there is no motive for the shooting at this time. The suspect has not been identified.

Walthall County Coroner Chris Blackwell identified the victim as Jertyronce Andrews, 28.
