Alexandria man arrested for juvenile pornography possession

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (WNTZ) – Louisiana State Police Special Victim’s Unit (LSP SVU) conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrest of 45-year-old David Roberts of Alexandria.

In February 2025, LSP SVU began an investigation into the possession of pornography involving juveniles. As a result of the investigation and information obtained, LSP SVU acquired and executed an arrest warrant for Roberts. On March 27, 2025, Roberts was placed under arrest for pornography involving juveniles and transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center (DC1) for processing.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. No further information is available at this time.  

LSP SVU works to rescue and seek justice for the victims of crimes involving the exploitation of children and the trafficking of humans for sex or labor. The public plays an important role in identifying suspects accused of these crimes and is urged to report criminal or suspicious activity.
