Colon cancer awareness: SEPTA and Jefferson Health team up to educate
PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — SEPTA and Jefferson Health are partnering to help raise awareness of colon cancer.
At SEPTA’s Jefferson Station, Jefferson Health’s Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center and SEPTA’s medical and wellness team were on hand Wednesday to promote getting screened for colon cancer.
The event featured Jefferson Health’s giant “Stollin’ Colon,” a life-sized replica of a human colon, to educate people about colon polyps and cancer prevention.
