Baton Rouge police arrest 2 teens accused of deadly shooting
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Police have arrested two suspects in connection to the shooting on Monroe Avenue that left a man dead and a woman injured.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, detectives arrested two 15-year-old boys for their involvement in the shooting death of Jalen Lee, 22, in the 4300 block of Monroe Avenue on March 23.
The two teens were booked into the Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
Police noted that one of the teens had a previous arrest for an armed robbery.
