According to the St. Gabriel Police Department, funeral services for Officer Darius Faveroth will be held on Saturday, March 29. The viewing is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the service to immediately follow.
The viewing and service will be held at the Iberville Christian Center in St. Gabriel, 4070 LA Hwy 30.
Faveroth served as an officer with SGPD for two years, served with the White Castle Police Department for three years and was a Specialist in the Louisiana National Guard. SGPD said Faveroth was preparing to deploy in April.
Gov. Jeff Landry and law enforcement agencies from across the area shared their condolences for Faveroth’s family and colleagues.
