LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Lafayette government and construction extended the road closure initially supposed to end in March, is now set in April.
Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department announces the extension of the temporary closure of Frem Boustany Drive between Meadow Farm Drive and Lake Farm Road. Originally scheduled to reopen on March 14., the closure will now remain in effect through April 11.
This extension is necessary to complete the construction of left-turn lanes within the median on Frem Boustany Drive as part of the Ambassador Town Home development.
Lafayette Consolidated Government suggest the following detour routes; Meadow Farm Road, Crescent Ranch Boulevard and Lake Farm Road.
