Man arrested after crashing into police cars in Livingston Parish

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man was arrested after driving into multiple police vehicles in Livingston Parish.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, Marlo Miguel Gonzales, 31, is accused of intentionally driving and crashing into marked and unmarked units in Denham Springs while attempting to flee. Gonzales crashed into a nearby canal, where LPSO K9 Diesel quickly captured him.

Gonzales was arrested on Tuesday on charges of aggravated flight, aggravated criminal damage to property, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Sheriff Jason Ard said the reason for Gonzales to drive in such a manner is unknown at this time.

More charges are possible, according to Ard.
