Body discovered in Ridgeland landfill

RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – Ridgeland police are investigating after a body was discovered by a landfill employee.

The incident occurred at the Little Dixie Landfill on North County Line Road around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24.

Ridgeland police said the deceased person has not been identified. He is described as a Black male, gray stubble beard, and balding with white stubble. He was wearing a dark colored T-shirt bearing “United States Postal Service” with logo in yellow on the front of the shirt.
