Juvenile injured in shooting on near east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a juvenile was injured in a shooting on the near east side of Indianapolis Saturday night.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before 10:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1000 block of St. Paul Street on the report of a person shot.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located a juvenile male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Investigators indicated that the boy is currently in stable condition.
