SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Authorities are actively searching for a man wanted in connection with an attempted first-degree rape of a young child.
Shreveport Police detectives are investigating a sexual assault allegation involving a young child while in the care of Melvin Robinson.

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit urge anyone with information on Robinson’s whereabouts to contact SPD immediately at 318-673-7300.
