Second-alarm fire breaks out at local potato chip factory

(WHTM) — A second-alarm fire broke out at a local potato chip factory last night in Berks County.

According to a Facebook post from Marion Fire Company, all of their fire units were dispatched to Dieffenbach’s Potato Chip factory at 51 Host Road in Womelsdorf Berks County for reports of a fire last night.

Photos from the scene depict smoke emanating from the facility as firefighters were able to control the blaze.

No injuries have been reported and the cause has yet to be determined, at this time.
