VPSO Arrest Report: Hornbeck woman arrested twice in 4 days

VERNON PARISH, La. (WNTZ) – Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO) has announced a series of recent arrests made by VPSO deputies and the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force.

March 13, 2025

Michael Scott Evans, 50, of Florence, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with one count of Improper Telephone Communications and one count of Cyberstalking. Evans’ bond was set at $3,000, which he posted before being released.

Johnny Ferris, 39, of Leesville, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant. His bond has not been set, and he remains in the VPSO jail.

Robert A. Bebee, 60, of Rosepine, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant. His bond has not been set, and he remains in the VPSO jail.

Dakota Myriah Beavers, 34, of Hornbeck, was arrested by Agents with the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force. Beavers was charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic. Bond has not been set, and she remains in the VPSO jail.

Scotty Ray Meier, 29, of Leesville, was also arrested by Agents with the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force. Meier was charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic. Bond has not been set, and he remains in the VPSO jail.

Jody Murray, 17, of Anacoco, was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Assault. Bond has not been set, and he remains in the VPSO jail.

March 15, 2025

Alvin Strickland, 75, of Anacoco, was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. Bond has not been set, and he remains in the VPSO jail.

Darion Alexis Lashae Perez, 28, of Pitkin, was arrested and charged with one count of Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling. Bond has not been set, and she remains in the VPSO jail.

March 17, 2025

Cody Andrew Gould, 35, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery. His bond was set at $15,000, and he remains in the VPSO jail.

Dakota Myriah Beavers, 34, of Hornbeck, was arrested again, but this time charged with one count of Criminal Damage to Property. Her bond was set at $1,281, and she remains in the VPSO jail.

March 18, 2025

Stacey Marie Carroll, 39, of Pitkin, was arrested and charged with one count of Identity Theft. Bond has not been set, and she remains in the VPSO jail.

Sheriff Craft emphasized the ongoing efforts of VPSO deputies and the Narcotics Task Force in ensuring public safety and addressing criminal activities within Vernon Parish. Investigations remain ongoing in several cases.
