BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man who has been wanted on second-degree kidnapping, attempted second-degree murder and assault charges was arrested on Friday.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, Christopher Aucoin, 35, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals. Aucoin has been wanted since July 2024 by LPSO and the Denham Springs Police Department.

DSPD Chief Rodney Walker said officers were responding to a woman with stab wounds on LA Hwy 16 near John Martin Lane on July 10, 2024. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
