Each year, the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters (LAB) recognizes outstanding achievements and talent in radio and television broadcasters all over Louisiana. This year KLFY News 10 was rewarded for their exemplary work on air.
Our infamous morning show Passe Partout that starts off the day with Acadiana won Best Morning Show in the State. And the show would not be the same without its talented producer, Dusty Crochet, who was honored with Producer of the Year.
In the Promotion Category, the KLFY’s creative services led by Bryce Istre won the Promotion of the Year for its commercial for our high school football show, “1st and Ten.”
Our anchor, Lidia Alcala and the Acadiana Live team won the award for the Most Unique Show in Louisiana. The award honors our Mardi Gras Live show from the 2024 Independent Parade.
The KLFY news team also won for Best Breaking News Coverage in the State for our coverage when Hurricane Francine hit the gulf late last year.
Congrats to the staff of KLFY News 10 as we work hard to bring the best news and community coverage in the state of Louisiana every day.
