Matching this lightning gem with two other gems of the same color will wipe out an entire column. If you manage to match 5 gems in a row, you will get a rainbow gem. Swapping this gem with another gem of any color will take out all of the gems of that color from the board.

The goals that you have to meet in Pirate Treasures change from level to level. In some levels, you have to collect a certain amount of a single colored gem while in others you have to break the ice that has frozen some of the gems. If you get stuck on a level and can’t find a way to complete the goal, you can use boosters to get instant help. This match-3 adventure offers up 3 different boosters to you. The first one is a hammer which can be used to strike a gem to get it off the board. The other two are cyclone and lightning. Activating the cyclone power repositions the gems on the board while clicking the lightning power take out a column of your choosing.

In Pirate Treasures, you are given score for each match you make. The higher you score, the greater the number of stars you will get. If you manage to reach the goal with some moves remaining then those moves will be added to your score, resulting in a better haul of stars. These stars are important since you are going to require them for claiming treasures in each episode as well as playing the crown level of the episode which offers special items.
