The release said IMPD conducted searches of two homes on Wednesday in relation to an investigation that began in December 2024.

In the searches of a home in the 7700 block of Mountain Stream Way and a home in the 8500 block of Faywood Drive, the following items were reportedly recovered and seized:

  • 71.6 pounds of methamphetamines
  • 2.16 pounds of cocaine
  • 27.36 grams of marijuana
  • 178 grams of heroin/fentanyl
  • 15 Oxycodone pills
  • Four firearms, including one shotgun, one rifle and two handguns
  • Three vehicles, including a 2014 Chevy Impala, a 2023 GMC Yukon and a 2019 Dodge Durango
  • $7,480 in U.S. currency

“What we saw here was a staggering amount of narcotics that we were able to intercept,” said IMPD North District Commander Matt Thomas.

IMPD officials believe busts like this can save lives and prevent violence.

“We see case after case after case where narcotics are intertwined with violence on the streets of Indianapolis and we’re committed to reducing violence,” said Thomas.

Court records show both suspects are considered serious violent felons because of their criminal histories. IMPD hopes their arrest sends a message to other suspected drug dealers.

“I hope people that are engaged in this type of activity think twice. They can cause overdoses and hurt our community,” said Thomas.

Both suspects are due in court for initial hearings on Friday. Both are being held on $20,000 cash bonds pending the filing of formal charges.
