According to a press release, the program aims to increase youth participation in baseball and softball by funding impactful community initiatives. Nonprofit organizations and schools within the Rangers’ five-state territory are invited to apply for funding by completing the grant proposal and detailing how their programs would benefit from financial support.
“Grants may be used for field renovations, equipment and uniform needs, league development, construction projects, and more,” the release stated. “Recipients are selected based on need and the potential impact of the proposed program on their community’s youth baseball and softball opportunities.”
According to the release, Globe Life and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation awarded $125,000 to 20 nonprofit organizations across the region in 2024 after receiving a record number of applications. Since the program’s launch in 2012, it has provided $1.25 million in funding to more than 150 organizations.
The application deadline is June 27, 2025 at 6 p.m. For more information or to apply online, visit rangers.com/grants.
