Owensboro Catholic Middle School says it is operating on non-traditional instruction days for the rest of the week due to damage.
Meanwhile, Owensboro Public Schools say classes will be in session as normal, as repairs are made to the roof.
Tommy Woodall of Woodall Roofing and Exteriors says he has not seen damage like this in quite a while. His team is making repairs at Owensboro Middle School and says it will be a lengthy process.
Both Owensboro Middle School and Estes Elementary School were already closed on Tuesday for crews to make repairs. Over at Owensboro High School, the campus was closed on Monday for repairs.
Despite all the damage, OPS says school will be in session at all of its schools on Wednesday, and is sending students home with NTI materials in case of weather delay repairs.
But that is not the case for all schools in the city as Owensboro Catholic Middle School will be closed for the remainder of the week.
