School officials say Johnson currently serves as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at Cravens Elementary School.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead the Lady Red Devils volleyball program,” said Johnson. “Our program has accomplished so much the past few years and I’m looking forward to stepping into this role to continue building on that success.”
Johnson is set to take over for Melissa Hibbs, who resigned after 13 years as the leader of the program.
A public press conference to introduce Johnson is set for Monday, April 21 at 3:30 p.m. in the OHS lobby.
