City Cruises to operate 3 White Sox 2005 World Series Champion fan cruises hosted by Ozzie Guillén, A.J. Pierzynski

CHICAGO — City Cruises has announced Wednesday a partnership with the Chicago White Sox for the 2025 MLB regular season.

According to the release, the partnership is part of a multi-year agreement between City Cruises and the White Sox. This is City Cruises’ first-ever nationwide sports partnership.

The partnership will highlight “City Cruises Live,” the cruise line’s new live entertainment series, which includes three 2005 Chicago White Sox World Series Champion fan cruises that will be hosted by 2005 World Series Manager Ozzie Guillén and All-Star catcher A.J. Pierzynski.

“This groundbreaking partnership represents City Cruises’ continued innovation by connecting our dining and sightseeing cruises with an engaged and passionate White Sox fanbase that shares our passion for showcasing the very best Chicago has to offer,” said Grace Fuller, general manager of City Cruises Chicago.

The cruises are in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the White Sox winning the World Series, and will feature special appearances by fellow teammates from the championship-winning team, including Joe Crede, Jermaine Dye, and Scott Podsednik.

Each three-hour cruise will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the memorable playoff run and an opportunity to see the 2005 World Series trophy in-person.

“The 2005 White Sox team holds a special place in my heart and the hearts of so many Chicagoans,” said Pierzynski. “I’m so thrilled to set sail with Ozzie and my fellow teammates, 20 years later, to celebrate an iconic run with the fans who made it all possible.”

The limited-time-only cruises will set sail from City Cruises’ Chicago port on Sunday, June 29, Sunday, July 27 and Sunday, August 24. Tickets are available at citycruises.com/live.
