WEBSTER PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Lakeside Jr/Sr High School and Webster Parish Schools will present their inaugural “Where Dreams Meet Opportunities” career expo.

The expo will highlight the types of jobs that companies hire for in the area. A press release stated that the expo was created to build a pipeline for future talent by helping students understand these jobs and the skills they will need to excel.

“Lakeside will host students from all over Webster Parish,” the release stated. “These students will be looking to learn about businesses like yours! We invite you to join us by reserving space for your own interactive booth. We encourage you to include simulations, videos, hands-on products, machinery, samples, and one-on-one visits that encourage participation. We want you to be as creative and engaging as possible, so feel free to think outside the box!”

Vendors are encouraged to register immediately before the April 4 deadline, as space is limited. For more information, contact Lesa Ward or Carrie Woodard at 318-377-2133.
