The Louisiana Workforce Commission’s Rapid Response Team has stepped in to help those workers who lose their jobs due to mass layoffs.
The Rapid Response Team assists with a variety of services and needs free of charge:
- On-Site Worker Transition Centers
- Employee Orientation Meetings
- Job Search and Placement Assistance
- Job Search Workshops
- Job Counseling
- Résumé Preparation Assistance
- Interviewing Techniques
- Labor Market Information
- Stress Management
- Information and Referral Services
- Veterans Assistance
- Remedial Education
- Occupational Retraining
- On-the-Job Training
- Relocation Assistance
- Trade Adjustment Assistance
- Unemployment Insurance
- Referrals to “Other” Support Services as needed
- Crisis Counselling
- Financial Management Debt Counselling
Onsite reemployment events will occur at the Natchitoches American Job Center at 303 Bienville Street in Natchitoches, LA.
- March 18-20, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- March 25-2, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Previous reemployment events occurred in February in Natchitoches and Campti via the Louisiana Workforce Commission‘s Rapid Response Team mobile workforce center.
