According to court documents, filed last month in Randolph County, Wilhelmine Mosier has been charged with:
In the early morning hours of Jan. 2, officers with the Winchester Police Department were called to a home on E. Short Street on a report of a drug overdose. The documents said that a man who was reportedly overdosing had taken “ice.” The man, later identified as Ethaniel Wells, was later pronounced dead.
The documents said that the home that officers responded to was under Mosier’s name. At the scene, officers spoke with witnesses, who reportedly told officers that Wells had taken “hot ice,” which was methamphetamine mixed with ketamine.
One witness told police that Mosier purchased the drugs in Muncie and provided it to the group at the home. The documents said that another witness told police that Wells was not under the influence of any drugs before he came to Mosier’s home.
Wells’ cause of death was determined as being the toxic effects of methamphetamine and amphetamine, the documents said.
According to court documents, Mosier’s pretrial conference is scheduled for May 29 and her jury trial is scheduled for June 30. If convicted, Mosier can face up to 40 years in prison.
