16-year-old shot at basketball court in Southwest Philadelphia

A teenager is recovering at the hospital after he was shot in the arm at a basketball court in Southwest Philadelphia.

According to Philadelphia Police, a 16-year-old male was shot once in the left arm at 5:02 p.m. at the Park basketball court on 800 Cobbs Creek Parkway.

He was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia by private vehicle. 

Police say the teenager is in stable condition.

At this time no arrests have been made and no weapon was found.
