By rssfeeds-admin TEXARKANA, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) — A 10-year-old girl and her mother were sleeping inside their home when they were struck by gunfire from outside.
According to the Texarkana, Texas Police Department, it happened Friday at around 12:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of Mason Street.
The victims were both taken to the hospital and the young girl was later transferred to Arkansas Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
Investigators say another nearby home was also shot at multiple times.
