Spreading Irish cheer in the Heart of the Anthracite

SHENANDOAH – Ahead of the Saint Patrick’s Day holiday, a local bagpiper helped spread Irish cheer across the region recently, including a stop in Shenandoah.

The Sentinel was there when Todd Jones stopped by Vernalis Restaurant in town Thursday performing traditional tunes.

Of Ashland, Jones is also a member of the Hawk Mountain Highlanders.
