Ashland restaurant offers free water to Shenandoah area residents
ASHLAND – An Ashland restaurant is stepping up to help folks in need here at home.
Fabrizio’s Restaurant, on Centre Street, is offering clean drinking water to customers in Shenandoah and the surrounding valley without water as crews continue efforts to repair the water system.
“We’re offering free water refills for any containers you bring, no charge at all,” a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page says. “We’re hoping this situation is resolved very soon. Stay safe and take care of one another.”
The restaurant opens at 11am and folks are welcome to stop by as often as needed.
In town, Aqua Pennsylvania has a tanker of potable water available at borough hall in Shenandoah and the Shenandoah Fire Department set up portable ponds for non-potable water to allow residents to flush toilets.
