NJ Transit hiring for bus driver jobs; signing bonuses offered

NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – NJ Transit is hiring for bus driver jobs across the state and offering signing bonuses worth up to $6,000.

“If you want to start a career — not just a job — join our nationally-recognized team of Bus Operators. At NJ TRANSIT, we fully train and certify all of our bus operators, so you have everything you need to hit the road,” the job listing states.

People who have a commercial driver license (CDL) may be eligible for up to a $6,000 signing bonus if they get hired.

People who have a CDL permit may still be eligible for a signing bonus worth up to $3,000.

NJ Transit said it would help people who don’t have a CDL permit obtain one. They would still qualify for up to a $3,000 signing bonus.

The job offers health benefits, a pension plan, life insurance, paid time off and more.
