Local animal shelter partners with Chick-fil-A for “Dogs in the drive-thru” event

SHREVEPORT/BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Ninna’s Road to Rescue animal shelter is partnering with Chick-fil-A for their “Dogs in the Drive-Thru” event.

On March 17, pet owners are invited to bring their dogs through the drive-thru, where they will receive a branded bandana and a pup cup. This event aims to celebrate pets in the community and collect donations for Ninna’s Road to Rescue. If you choose to donate any items, your furry friend will also receive an additional treat.

The animal shelter is currently accepting the following items:

  • laundry pods
  • liquid all-purpose cleaner
  • bleach
  • spray all-purpose cleaner
  • paper towels
  • disinfectant wipes
  • Purina One Chicken and Rice dry dog food
  • Little Cesar-type wet food or GOOD brand of any wet food
  • Purina Pro Plan canned puppy food
  • Non-tawhide chew bones/treats
  • Non-propylene glycol soft dog treats

Please ensure that your dog is present to receive the branded bandana. This event will only be held at the Chick-fil-A in Bossier City located at 2601 Beene Blvd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
