Thibodaux man killed in camper trailer explosion, fire
THIBODAUX, La. (WGNO) — A Thibodaux man is dead after a camper trailer explosion and fire happened in the area on Wednesday, March 12.
According to the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal, the St. John Fire Department responded to the incident, which occurred in the 100 block of Greenwood Plantation Road, around 3 p.m.
On scene, firefighters say they found a camper trailer on fire and the victim, a 63-year-old man, in an adjacent home. The man was brought to a New Orleans hospital where he later died.
The incident is now being investigated by State Fire Marshal deputies.
