Chilly to cool in Acadiana this Wednesday morning as most areas are feeling temperatures in the lower 50s. Patchy areas of dense fog are possible too as we start the day. The afternoon should feel slightly warmer compared to yesterday as highs push into the upper 70s under partly cloudy skies. Lows tonight will only fall into the lower 60s.
We are still on track for showers and storms on Saturday along with an elevated risk for severe weather. Damaging winds, stronger tornadoes, and large hail will be possible. There is a great threat for a tornado outbreak to occur across Mississippi and Alabama.
