Shreveport Mudbugs partner with Louisiana Blind Association for camp

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Members of the Shreveport Mudbugs are teaming up with the Louisiana Association for the Blind to give local youth an unforgettable experience.

Students participating in the association’s spring break camp can skate with the city’s beloved hockey team.

The Louisiana Association for the Blind provides various services, including assistive technology, a visual aid store, and children’s programs.

The event will be held on March 11, starting at 12:30 p.m., at George’s Pond inside Hirsch Coliseum at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds.
