Chilly and calm weather is kicking off your Tuesday in Acadiana. A few areas of dense fog are possible too. Spring-like warmth arrives today as temperatures approach the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. Highs in the 70s to 80s are expected for the next several days. Lows tonight will reach the lower 50s.

Our next rain chance arrives on Friday as isolated showers are possible. Showers and storms will be more widespread and likelier on Saturday. We are monitoring Saturday for an elevated risk for severe weather as storms could produce damaging winds, tornadoes, and large hail.
