The Jaguars claimed the title Saturday with a 71-57 win over Alabama A&M.
The Jaguars finish the regular season with a 20-11 record and 15-3 record in SWAC conference play.
The Jaguars will be the number one seed in the SWAC Tournament next week in Atlanta.
The Southern University women’s basketball team won the 2025 SWAC regular season title.
The Lady Jaguars will also be the SWAC tournament’s top seed.
