Firebaugh’s Josh Allen signs massive six-year $330M extension

(KSEE/KGPE)– Firebaugh native and former Reedley College quarterback Josh Allen has inked a record-setting deal with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills announced they’ve agreed to a six-year $330 million extension with the reigning NFL MVP. $250 million is guaranteed to Allen, which is the largest guaranteed total ever given to an NFL player according to ESPN.

The 28-year-old still had four seasons left on his contract but was rewarded for his MVP season.

The former Firebaugh Eagle has led the Buffalo Bills to six straight AFC East titles. This past season, he was named the NFL’s MVP after Allen became the first player in NFL history to record at least 25 touchdown passes, 10 touchdown runs and less than 10 interceptions.

Allen is now under contract in Buffalo through the 2030 season and will make an average annual value of $55 million.
