MARSHALL, Texas (KTAL/KMSS)—A joint law enforcement effort in Marshall led to the arrests of two men and the recovery of multiple stolen items.

Police arrested William Allen George, 56, and Leon Mathew McVay, 21 after executing a search warrant in the 1100 block of Hayes. During the search, officers recovered a generator and other stolen items, including TVs, cameras, a drone, welding equipment, weed eater, push mower, furniture, and controlled substances.

Both men were arrested without incident and now face possession of a controlled substance, and additional charges are expected. The discovery of the stolen items gave police insights into several cases and returned the stolen property to its rightful owners.
