High temperatures were nearly 10 degrees cooler on Thursday, but right on par with what is normal for this time of year.
The initially gusty 30+ mph winds occurred during the early morning hours and wind velocities dropped off during the day.
The totally cloud-free skies were a welcomed change following the recent dreary stretch.
It’s worth noting, days have lengthened by nearly two and a half hours since the shortest day back on December 21. The total ultraviolet intensity is over 4 times stronger since back in December, making even a chilly day feel much warmer.
