The crash happened around 9:07 p.m. Feb. 26. The Baton Rouge Police Department said the driver of a Honda Accord was heading south on Nicholson Drive and attempted to make a left turn onto South Quad Drive before being struck by a motorcycle heading north on Nicholson Drive.
Reidenauer, 18, was identified as one of the victims killed in the crash. LSU Athletics said the Abita Springs native Reidenauer was one of Louisiana’s top prep pole vaulters at Fountainbleau High School.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, March 6, at St. Joseph Abbey Church in St. Benedict, Louisiana. Visitation begins at 1 p.m., followed by words of remembrance at 1:45 p.m. and a Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. A private burial will take place afterward.
