UPDATE 3/04/25 6:30 p.m.: According to a video shared on Facebook, during a live performance from Chris Ardion, at least 10 gunshots rang out into the crowd causing everyone in the crowd to run.
Another video showed officers forcing three men to the ground with at least one of them being put into handcuffs.
It is not yet known if today’s shooting is connected to the shooting that occurred in Mamou Monday during a live performance.
ORIGINAL STORY: MAMOU, La. (KLFY) — Police are on the scene of shooting that happened in Mamou. Officials said multiple people have been shot, with at least one being fatal.
Sources also tell KLFY News a suspect or possible suspects are in being questioned about the shooting.
