BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Dangerous winds and strong storms in the Baton Rouge area left thousands without power Tuesday.
Baton Rouge was placed under an enhanced risk for severe weather on Tuesday afternoon, with high winds that could blow loose outdoor objects and make driving on the roads difficult.
Power outages in the Baton Rouge area
As of j8:30 p.m., East Baton Rouge Parish had over 1500 outages for Entergy Louisiana customers. Several hundred DEMCO customers remain without power in East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana and St. Helena Parished.
