HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Owensboro Athletic Club is expanding with a 90,000 square foot facility named “Club One.”
OAC took to social media to promote the upcoming construction on this multi-phase project, which will be located on J.R. Miller Boulevard near Southtown Boulevard.
The new facility is said to include the following:
Indoor pickleball courts
Indoor batting cages
High rock climbing wall
Golf and baseball simulators
Full NBA-regulation indoor basketball court
Indoor and outdoor track
Indoor pool and hot tub
Party rooms
Medical/recovery spa
Onsite massage
Onsite fishing
We’re told OAC will also be partnering with a jujitsu academy, a hormone clinic and local physical therapists as part of their wellness experience.
Officials say construction is set to begin soon, but no official groundbreaking date has been announced.
